The 2015 Ram 3500 is the best heavy hauler in its class. Ram Truck promotes its best-in-class payload of 7,390 lbs, torque of 865 lb-ft and towing capacity of 30,000 lbs. Our tester, being a Crew Cab, was rated slightly less at 29,010. In truth, most owners won’t notice the reduction in overall capacity.
