When the factory flex plate fails, it typically begins to crack in the center where it bolts to the crankshaft. The Stock+ Series Flex Plate features a cold-rolled steel construction with a 4mm thick center plate. This helps provide a solid foundation allowing this flex plate to handle the torque and stress from the drivetrain. In addition, the ring gear is robotically cold-welded for accuracy and allows this flex plate to meet SFI specifications.
