Amanda Stegall’s Diamond-Wrapped Duramax

There are lifted diesel trucks, and then there are trucks that flat-out refuse to blend in. Amanda Stegall’s 2015 GMC Denali falls squarely into that second group. Nicknamed Enigma, this Mississippi-built rig sits sky-high, rolls on 30s, packs a 6.6L Duramax V-8, and wears a purple-and-diamond wrap that makes sure nobody walks past without taking a second look. That was exactly Amanda’s plan.

She wanted a truck that reflected who she is—bold, confident, feminine, and different. More importantly, she wanted to be the first to pull off a diamond-wrapped truck. About a year and roughly $300,000 later, Enigma became that vision in full-size form.

The stance alone means business. BK Fab handled the triangulated four-link suspension and framework, giving the GMC a towering 22-inch lift with air ride at all four corners and BABS shocks. Underneath, the truck received a solid-axle swap with a Super Duty front axle, custom front and rear driveshaft components, and 4.56 gears. SSBC big brakes help bring all that rolling stock back under control.

PURPLE-COATED axle and suspension components contrast with polished metalwork below, highlighting the extensive chassis work supporting Enigma’s towering stance.

And there is plenty of rolling stock. Enigma rides on massive 30×16 Fittipaldi wheels wrapped in 42-inch Predator New Mutant X-MT tires. The wheels were hand-engraved by Hank Robinson and finished with True Spike lug nuts. Bushwacker fender flares help finish off the big-body look.

Under the hood sits the 6.6L Duramax V-8, breathing out through a custom fully polished 5-inch stainless exhaust built by BK Fab. JFab also fabricated a fully polished custom fuel tank underneath.

RATHER than a factory emblem, the grille announces “Enigma” in oversized lettering, making the truck’s identity impossible to miss.

Then there’s the body. An Overkill Fab custom lighted grille, Gold Standard headlights, Fusion bumpers, and 80 purple-and-white rock lights pile on the details, but the diamond-and-purple sparkly silver wrap is still the star of the show.

Inside, Amanda kept the same attitude going. Roadwire covered the bucket seats in black, purple, and gray leather and ostrich, while a custom fiber-optic starlight headliner lights up overhead. Xtreme Audio packed the truck with four 15s, eight 8s, and four pairs of wakeboard speakers mounted underneath. There’s even a HornBlasters air horn setup.

Mounted beneath the truck, a custom speaker array extends the audio system beyond the cab, blending show-truck presentation with serious sound output.

Enigma has already hit SEMA, Lone Star Throwdown, Scrapin’ the Coast, and other major truck events. Amanda says the build taught her two things every truck builder eventually learns: have patience and don’t rush the process.

HAND-ENGRAVED artwork transforms this oversized Fittipaldi wheel into a statement piece, blending floral patterns and skull motifs with the truck’s purple theme.
