A friend of mine who passed away during Covid called it that, so I kept it in memory of him. It was originally a 1995 Ram 2500, 4WD extended-cab long bed, that had rolled over a cliff. I swapped a standard cab and short box body from a 1998 onto it. I had to section 29 inches out of the center of the frame and bob the rear to make them fit. Over the years it has been an experiment and learning project for everything DIY on a budget. Since putting it on the road, it has never been down for more than 3 weeks. I have done the ceramic thermal barrier coating, powdercoating, design, welding, engine work, fabrication, paint and graphics, and stereo all by myself. I had someone performance-build the 47RH transmission. Before the recent rounds of changes, it made 613 rear-wheel horsepower at 1,230 foot-pounds on Blessed Performance’s dyno at 65 psi of boost about 3 years ago. The most recent boost is 86 psi. It’s not for everyone, but I did everything.” Name: Jarrett AndersonLocation: Indiana1990 Dodge D150“5.9L common rail swapped, full manual valve body with trans brake. Completed for drag and drive events in the last year. The truck has almost 15k miles on this setup.” NAME: Mitch OlsenLocation: Tennessee1997 Ford E-350“Here is my 1997 E-350 single-rear 7.3L. Home is Tennessee, but she’s traveled to all 48! Watch for her at shows throughout the year!” Name: Travis LelandLocation: ArizonaFord F-350 ShortyA single-cab short-bed F-350 made without shortening a factory frame section and not chopped behind the cab and done using a regular-cab long bed and SuperCab short bed with a full factory 30-gallon fuel tank. I have never seen another one done in this way. The rest is too much to list. There are a lot of custom-made one-off pieces on this Shelby-inspired ‘Super Duty Sport’ truck.” NAME: Alex “Skippy” BrownLocation: Utah1978 Peterbilt 359“Detroit Diesel Series 60 12.7L!” Total 0 Shares Share 0 Tweet 0 Pin it 0 Share 0
