NADM's Merchant Sled Pull - Spring Fling June 13-14 marked the 3rd
Annual Merchant Automotive Spring Fling, hosted by Eric Merchant and
Merchant Automotive. June 13th was an Open House at Merchants beautiful
new facility at 100 N. Fairview Rd in Zeeland MI where the Diesel
Performance Motorsports Dyno was onsite to run trucks testing horsepower
and torque. The day was highlighted by the BBQ that was cooked and
prepared onsite, as well as the trucks lined in the parking lot where
owners were able to discuss their modifications and discuss their
results from the dyno testing.

Saturday June 14th, again the dyno was set-up but this time at Ottawah
County Fairgrounds where not only did the participants and spectators
enjoy hours of dyno runs, but NADM was on hand to provide sled pulls and
exhibitions with the Hushpower Monster Truck.
The highlight on Saturday for the dyno was watching Adam with his white
Ford F250 with a Twin Turbo Cummins attempt to break his National Record
of 1331 HP and 2200 TQ. While Adam was wanting to punch through the 1400
HP barrier, He settled for a new National Record of 1374 hp and an
impressive 2500+ lb ft of torque.
The NADM sled pulls featured a Work Stock class, 2.6 and 2.8 street
class, and finished with Super Street where they let it all hang out.
Also on exhibition was the Green Ghost pulling the sled which combined
with the Hushpower Monster Truck, the crowd left satisfied with about 9
hours of dyno and sled pulling action.
